Read the passage. Then answer questions about the main idea and important details.
The Amazing Honeybee
Honeybees are amazing insects that live together in large groups called colonies. A single hive can have up to 60,000 bees! Each bee has an important job to do. The queen bee is the most important bee in the hive. She lays all the eggs. Worker bees are all female. They build the honeycomb, gather nectar from flowers, and take care of baby bees. Bees make honey from flower nectar. They store the honey in the honeycomb cells. Honey gives the bees food during winter when there are no flowers. Bees also help plants grow by spreading pollen from flower to flower. Without honeybees, many plants could not make seeds or fruit. That's why bees are so important to our world. We depend on bees more than we might think!
