How to Help Your Child
At this level, your child is adding very small numbers (within 5 or 10). Use fingers, blocks, or small toys to count. Say: 'You have 2 apples. I give you 1 more. How many now? Let's count together — 1, 2, 3!' Keep it fun and hands-on.
